Article Marketing Strategies

Today I am going to talk about article marketing strategies. If you are not using article marketing yet to send a stream of traffic to your website, what’s holding you back? It is not a strategy where you will get an instant increase in the visitors to your sites, but the traffic will gradually build as you publish more articles by being consistent in your writing.

 First off you will want to write an interesting article on a subject that people in your niche would want to read. When you write good articles, it would be a shame not to share them wouldn’t it? You now have the option to post your articles on your blog. You will also want to submit them to other sites such as e-zines. By submitting your articles to these sites, you get good exposure to your ideas but also to your website.

You submit your articles to popular e-zines such as ezine articles, article base and go articles. Doing this means you can take advantage of their popularity. Also other sites who find your article relevant may also link back to you. Thus, you increase your link popularity, which is one of the most important strategies in the internet world.

You can also send out your article to hundreds of different article directories by using article submitter software. This will cost money though the one I use was a one off cost of $87 I think but it was worth the money as it saves me a lot of time getting my articles distributed. Watch out for some of the others as one I know charges $67 a month.

Another way to get your article out there is to post it on your blog and then distribute the link to your blog article. Post your link on facebook, twitter etc… and you will see an increase in visitors to your blog. Also when you get your article published on ezine articles post that link too as they are a very high ranking site and it will help you by having links to it.

You could also go to onlywire and join up, then when you write an article you can then send your article link to over 30 social media sites at the click of a button. A fast way of getting eyes on your articles.

If you are new to article marketing you may be wondering how or where do you put the link to your blog or squeeze page. At the bottom of the article you have what is known as a resource box. This is where you add your links, you can add two or three depending on the rules of the directory.

A little tip here try to make this resource box seem like a continuation of your article and guide people to find out more by clicking your link. This works better than filling the box with stuff all about you as most people are not interested in you, but they may be interested in finding out more about the subject. Don’t forget to tell them to click the link as this is what you want them to do after all.

Do you ever get those days where you just don’t know where to turn? There is so much to do but you are being torn five different ways by all the advice you are receiving from different people.

Or you can get it done for 5 dollars at fiverr.com where someone is willing to do all the boring stuff for you. You are now in a position to get your content spread all over the internet at the press of a button.

To get even more distribution of your articles you can even join a tribe. If you are not familiar with tribes it is where a group of people get together and distribute each others content. This can result in a massive amount of views of your articles and of course you have your links to what you are selling in the resource box at the bottom of your article. You may not like article marketing at all but you may enjoy something like social media marketing on facebook or twitter.
