2. Personal

4. Spiritual

5. Social

Today we will concentrate on business goals.

A lot of people when starting out in business just jump in and start marketing without setting any goals, having a plan or a daily blueprint to work from. Without these in place they may already be doomed to failure.

Before you start out in your business you should set yourself worthwhile goals, be specific about these goals. Write them down and then create a plan for achieving these goals. Next step would be to implement this plan. Come back to this plan often to review and adjust it as needed.

Apart from writing down what your goals are, write down why you want to achieve these goals and set a date when you hope to achieve these goals. If you do not set an end for your goal how will you know you have reached it? Once you have reached a goal, set a new goal and carry on with that. Make sure you read your goals at least twice a day, first thing in the morning when you wake up and before you go to bed. This will keep them in your mind and help you stay focused on what you are trying to achieve.

Make sure you review and analyse your progress every day. Adjust your goals if you have gone “off course” but always remember the quickest way to your target(your goal) is in a straight line. Do not get distracted and let anything stop you from reaching your goals.
